Pink granite at the edge of the Atlantic. You've never been here before, but you picked it anyway. That tells me something about you two. The kind of couple that trusts the pull of a place before they've set foot in it. We meet the sun first. Vows on stone. The ocean does the rest.

Good to know
Permits: Under 10 guests means no ceremony permit needed. Drone requires a separate NPS permit.
Marriage license: Bar Harbor Town Hall, both of you present, 1-2 days before. Black ink only. Officiant + 2 witnesses required by Maine law.

Timing: Late September is the sweet spot. Summer crowds gone. Foliage hasn't peaked. The light does things it won't do any other time of year.
